Worldwide IT outages
This issue did not affect the vast majority of our systems.
Payment terminals in cafes are now operational.
Verifone payment services are now affected by this outage, and the responsible 3rd party vendors are working on a resolution. This is impacting card payment terminals in our cafes.
You may have read in the news or social media this morning regarding outages affecting organisations world wide.
Initial checks on our systems suggest that the University has not been impacted by these outages, however if you do experience problems, please report them to itservicedesk@st-andrews.ac.uk so we can investigate.
