We have received some reports of issues accessing the Shared or Home network drives from macOS devices.
If you encounter this issue - please use the following file path formats when attempting to connect.
Apple menu bar > Go > Connect to Server:
Enter the path below - swapping
Shared Drive:
smb://st-andrews;
e.g.
smb://st-andrews;abc123@cfs.st-andrews.ac.uk/shared/
Home Drive:
smb://st-andrews;
e.g.
smb://st-andrews;abc123@cfs.st-andrews.ac.uk/users/abc123/
It's also recommended to restart your macOS device after adding the path(s) above - to remove any previous versions from cache. (Apple menu bar > Apple menu > restart)
