Uniprint - 'invalid certificate' message after upgrading to macOS 26 (Tahoe)

Resolved
Resolved

Apple have now released an update to macOS - 26.3, which contains a number of bug fixes and security updates.

While a fix for printing issues is not mentioned specifically - after testing, we have a number of confirmations that after updating to 26.3, print functionality returns to normal.

To update a University-issued Mac:

  • Save any open work and ensure your Mac is connected to power
  • From the Apple menu top left > System Settings > General > Software Update
  • The system should make 26.3 available - choose Update now
  • Allow the Mac to work through the update process - it will probably restart at least once.

In some cases - you may need to reinstall Uniprint Ricoh from the Self Service app on the University Mac.

We will respond to the remaining open calls we have for this issue with guidance.

If you have any further issues - please contact the IT Service Desk.
