Recovering

ArcGIS have posted an update to their status page about services stabilising:

"We're experiencing some infrastructure related issues that have caused some intermittent timeouts across various arcgis.com sites and services.

The issue has stabilised and we are seeing some recovery but are continuing to investigate"

We'll update/resolve this post accordingly as they progress.

Investigating

We have received some reports that the online version of ArcGIS is unavailable.

A '504 Timeout' error is received when attempting to browse to uostandrews.maps.arcgis.com

ArcGIS have acknowledged this issue on their own status page - which can be found here
