The issue has been identified and actions taken to resolve it.
Students should now be able to use their ID cards to log into Xerox devices to perform print, scan and copy tasks.
Please report any further instances of this to itservicedesk@st-andrews.ac.uk
Please also refer to the available workaround of using the on-screen keyboard on a Xerox device to log in, if you continue to encounter an issue.
We have received reports that some students are receiving an 'invalid card' message when attempting to print from Xerox devices.
This is being investigated as a priority.
In the meantime - students facing this issue can log into a Xerox printer by pressing the on-screen keyboard icon - then logging in with short username format (e.g. abc123) and University password
