'Stale Request' message when accessing sites
This issue is now resolved. If you still experience a problem, please report it to the IT Service Desk.
We have received a number of reports of staff/students occasionally receiving a message when attempting to log into various St Andrews resources.
The message received is:
"Web Login Service - Stale Request"
This is being investigated, and we will update this post accordingly.
If you encounter this - in the first instance, please try the following:
- reload the page in question
- clear your browser cache/cookies, then reload the page
- try an alternate browser for the short term. A number of the reports so far are linked to using Google Chrome.
