Resolved
Resolved

The issue should now be resolved. Apologies for any inconvenience.

If you should happen to encounter this in the near future - e.g. using a device that has not been powered on today:

  • then please refer to the gpupdate step detailed earlier as a first step
  • if that does not resolve the issue - please report to the IT Service Desk
Recovering

The fix has been tested successfully and will have applied to the affected PCs within the next 2-3 hours - if on the network/VPN.

You can expedite that process by running a gpupdate task via a Command Prompt on your PC.

Steps:

  • Select Windows Start Menu
  • Type the word Command and select the top result Command Prompt
  • When the black Command Prompt window opens - type the following command and press enter:
  • gpupdate

This will update User and Computer Policies on your device.
