Wi-Fi in Halls of Residence - Emergency Maintenance - Monday 10th November 0800 - 1700
On Monday 10th November, we are carrying out emergency maintenance on the University’s Wi-Fi network in some Halls of Residences.
This essential remedial work is to resolve an issue which caused the brief outages recently experienced in residences, and has been advised by our network supplier.
This will result in a full loss of the service for up to 30 minutes over the course of Monday morning, and further shorter outages later in the day.
Networks:
- eduroam
- Resnet
- uos-connect
- BT Wi-Fi Free (available in some reception areas
Wired connections, such as UniPrint devices, computers in staff offices, or computer classroom pcs will not be affected.
This information has also been provided to Residential Service Managers.
